PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

Accidents can happen anywhere – on set, on location, during rehearsals. This could be a passerby tripping over equipment, damage to a rented location, or a member of the public injured during a staged scene. It's often a mandatory requirement for filming permits and location agreements.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS (E&O) INSURANCE
(ALSO KNOWN AS MEDIA LIABILITY)

This is specifically designed for the media industry. Even with careful vetting, legal challenges related to intellectual property or content can arise, especially after a show is distributed. E&O insurance is often a requirement for broadcasters and distributors.

EQUIPMENT INSURANCE

Production equipment is incredibly expensive and often fragile. This insurance protects against the significant financial hit of damaged or stolen gear.

FILM PRODUCERS INDEMNITY / CAST INSURANCE

The success of a production often hinges on specific individuals. If a key person becomes unavailable, the costs of rescheduling, reshooting, or even abandoning the project can be astronomical.

EXTRA EXPENSE INSURANCE

Unexpected disruptions can lead to significant extra costs, such as renting alternative locations, re-hiring crew, or paying for extended use of equipment.

CONTENT MEDIA

The recorded content is the core asset. Losing or damaging it can mean expensive reshoots or even the loss of the entire production.

CYBER LIABILITY INSURANCE

Production companies handle sensitive client and personnel data, as well as valuable intellectual property (scripts, footage). A cyber incident can be financially devastating.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

For productions involving significant travel for cast and crew, covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost luggage.

MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE
(
FOR PRODUCTION VEHICLES)

If the production owns or leases vehicles specifically for the production, distinct from personal vehicles. This can include picture vehicles (used in front of the camera) as well as production vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.).

WEATHER INTERRUPTION INSURANCE
(PLUVIOUS INSURANCE)

For productions where specific weather conditions are crucial for filming, this covers financial losses due to adverse weather that causes delays or cancellations.
